HOW TO USE
THIS SCRIPT
Okay...
if you've saved the
!00sidescroll.htm file
into your C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery
folder,
we're ready to move on to "how to use the script".
Once you've saved
them, launch to Outlook Express.
Using the
Simple Scroll
Make sure you are in Rich Text
format and have selected
View | Source Edit.
This script won't require us to look at the Source but the top
scroll will. You'll notice there are three tabs at the bottom
now... Edit | Source | Preview.
They'll come in really handy as you proceed with scripts and I
always like to use the
Preview
tab with most all my stats.
Select Message | New Message Using
and browse to the same folder above, then choose the
!00simplescroll.htm.
You'll see the word "stationery." and
a divider line. This is only to show you where the text should
begin, but DO NOT delete the divider bar. Below that line
is where all the script info is and it will make the script NOT
work if you delete it. Just type your message above that line.
(Note that the line will not appear in the final posted version.)
To change the ticker
text:
Click your
Source
tab, scroll ALMOST to the end of the script... you'll
see a bunch of "~" (without
the quotes) followed by TICKER TEXT
GOES HERE. Take out the
Ticker Text
Goes Here and
add
whatever you would like your Ticker
to say.
To add your image
and/or midi,
click your
Edit
tab, simply select
Format
|

|
Picture and
Sound. Preview or save it to your
Drafts folder and view there... then voila! You're ready to send
it!
