Saving/Acquiring
Sounds and/or Images from a Post Tip submitted by: Abby
Sometimes
you find a post that you just want to save the image so you
can study what the original stationer did... you know,
pick up a technique or try to compile a similar look. Or
how about those wonderful midis everyone seems to find that
you can't find anywhere...
Here's
an easy way to do it.
In
Outlook Express:
Select
Tools
| Options
from the menu selections.
Locate
the "Send" tab.
If
Reply
Using Same format...
is checked, uncheck it.
Change
News
Sending
format to "plain text".
Now
you're ready! Select the post you want to borrow from.
Select
Forward
from your menu options which will now show
each component of the stationery as an attachment.
Right-click
on the midi or image file, and select Save
As from the drop down menu. Save it to your
hard drive where you archive these file types.
OR
Open
your folder where you want to save to, click
the midi and drag
it to that folder.
